Construction

The toroidal core is made from metallic powder which has been heat-treated, insulated and wound with tinned copper wires. The magnetic dust core of the coil is made from high purity electrolytic iron (Mairon brand) powder which has been developed in the laboratories of Toho Zinc Co., Ltd.. The UL approved epoxy resin coat used for core insulation is specially developed by TAKRON laboratories for this purpose.
