SAL-400 - Überspannungsableiter 400VDC

Used as protection device against surges caused by electrostatic charges and during commutation of inductive loads. Especially suitable for protection against transient surges. The device's high impedance about 1010 Ω after exceeding the spark-over voltage decreases suddenly thus limiting the surge. This is a reversible process - whet the surge disappears the suppressor returns to its initial state (number of theses operations is limited and depend on the discharge current value).

The SAL surge suppressors can be used for protection of telecommunication, data transmission, control and measurement equipment and everywhere, where the surge protection is needed.
