32.0316P0001  –  Solar female connector MC4 Evo 2 53A 1.5kV

This connector is the further development of the classic MC4 connector and
perfectly fulfills the requirement for absolute reverse polarity protection,
because it is mechanically coded so precisely that it can only be connected to the matching
female socket (32.0316P0001).
The most important technical specifications of this connector:
Voltage & Current: Designed for modern high-voltage systems up to 1500 V DC. Depending on the cable cross-section, it can handle currents from 45 A (at 4 mm²) to 53 A (at 6 mm²). Cable cross-section: Suitable for solar cables with 4 mm² and 6 mm² conductor cross-sections. Outer diameter: The seal is optimized for cables with an outer sheath diameter of 4.7 mm to 6.4 mm. Protection class: Dustproof and waterproof according to IP65 and IP68 (submerged for 1 hour at a depth of 1 meter). Approvals: Certified according to IEC, UL, and TÜV. According to applicable standards (such as NEC), it has a safety lock that can only be opened with a tool when inserted. allows.
Compatibility with the old MC4 standard:
Stäubli guarantees unrestricted mating compatibility for the MC4-Evo 2 series
with the classic MC4 product family.
You can therefore easily connect this connector to existing, older original MC4 sockets
on your solar modules.

Although the connector fits with older MC4 connectors, the crimp profile
of the Evo 2 series is slightly modified.
For optimal tensile strength and minimal contact resistance, Stäubli recommends
using crimping pliers that are explicitly approved for MC4-Evo 2 inserts.
