1984 – Founded in Yangmei (Taoyuan, Taiwan) as a supplier of passive component equipment. 1987 – Trading company established in Hong Kong (China business). 1993 – Start of MOV/varistor production (metal oxide varistors). 1996 – Establishment of Dongguan (China) for backend/assembly; start of NTC thermistor production. 2002 – Establishment of factory/company in Suzhou (eastern China). 2005 – MLV (Multilayer Chip Varistors) in mass production. 2014 – SMD-NTC in mass production. 2020 – Development & series production start of low-clamping MOV. 2021–2022 – PSA Group becomes a (major) shareholder (~30%); also establishment of ChungLi Plant (Taiwan) for MLV & SMD NTC.
