1984 – Founded in Yangmei (Taoyuan, Taiwan) as a supplier of passive component equipment.
1987 – Trading company established in Hong Kong (China business).
1993 – Start of MOV/varistor production (metal oxide varistors).
1996 – Establishment of Dongguan (China) for backend/assembly; start of NTC thermistor production.
2002 – Establishment of factory/company in Suzhou (eastern China).
2005 – MLV (Multilayer Chip Varistors) in mass production.
2014 – SMD-NTC in mass production.
2020 – Development & series production start of low-clamping MOV.
2021–2022 – PSA Group becomes a (major) shareholder (~30%); also establishment of ChungLi Plant (Taiwan) for MLV & SMD NTC.

1993 – UL/CSA certification for MOV (JVR series).
1997 – ISO 9001 and IECQ certified.
2001 – ISO 14001.
2002 – CQC certification for MOV (China).
2007 – SONY Green Partner & TS16949.
2011–2019 – Further product/series certifications (including UL/VDE/CSA/CQC) for MOV variants (e.g. copper electrodes, 125 °C, Ultra-Surge, 105 °C series).
2018 – IATF 16949.
2023 – ISO 45001 & QC080000 (Taiwan plants).
